The Story Behind our Speciality Coffee in Wales

Meet Us.

Why Blue Monday?

We're named after New Order's famous tune...

When it was released in 1983, it broke the rules. It blended electronic music with rock in a way that hadn't really been done before, became the biggest-selling 12-inch single of all time, and more than forty years later, it still sounds fresh.

We were young in the '80s and remember hearing it for the first time. It felt different. It changed what music could be. That's the same mindset we bring to coffee.

We respect tradition, but we're always looking for better ways to do things, whether that's sourcing exceptional coffees, refining our roasting, or challenging the idea of what great coffee should taste like.

Our Pack Design

For our blends, the label features migrating birds from each country included in the blend, while each single origin coffee label showcases a native flower from that bean's specific country.
